Manchester City vs Bayern Munich
Manchester City and Bayern Munich is probably the highest-rated matchup in the Quarterfinals of this year’s UEFA Champions League.
Both teams are playing at a high level, while they are fighting for their league titles and other cup trophies.
City is in pursuit of Arsenal and Bayern is one toe ahead of Borussia Dortmund, but that only makes them stay permanently at a competitive edge. That is why, this first leg in Manchester gives the notion that is going to show spectacular football.
The Citizens undoubtedly have to get a good result at home and that means at least a two-goal difference because the football world knows the difficulty of closing a series in Allianz Arena, in Munich.
Nevertheless, they surely have the capabilities to achieve that. Erling Haaland is still on fire this season and everybody knows his predilection to score against Bayern Munich.
Also, Bernardo Silva, İlkay Gündoğan, and Jack Grealish are in-sync right now in the midfield, covering for a quieter Kevin de Bruyne and the latest absence of Phil Foden.
It could even be said that Manchester City has an even better roster than its upcoming rival, however, here comes the experience and the pedigree.
The German monarchs love this tournament and have on their team players that know what it takes at these stages to create a difference in the pitch and, consequently, in the scoreboard. One example is the unexpendable Thomas Müller.
But also they have hungry young stars such as Jamal Musiala who want to start collecting accolades for the club and themselves as the next winning generation of Bayern.

Benfica vs Internazionale
Benfica is the most gratifying surprise in this edition of the Champions League. They are the dark horse and still, at this stage, there are some doubters.
They have only drawn two matches throughout the entire competition and won everything else since the third qualifying round, which is a sign of their marvelous run.
Gonçalo Ramos has been their star the whole season, taking even more notice when Enzo Fernández left for Chelsea after the World Cup.
The Portuguese side is very comfortable leading Primeira Liga, even though they just lost a match against their fiercest rival Porto at home. This defeat should be considered because could have an impact emotionally on the team.
The difference between Benfica and Porto in the local standings table is seven points with seven games to go in the season. Before that match, it was an almost irretrievable ten.
Setting that aside, they should take advantage of an Inter team that is completely unstable right now.
The Neroazurri have only one win in their last eight matches (in all competitions) and as of now, they are out of a spot in the next edition of the Champions League.
Confusion and bad team play has been the constant in that stretch of terrible results and it seems that every time they try to shake off the negative sensations, they just sink a little bit more.
Lautaro Martínez has been trying to recover its performance but does not seem to achieve regularity. He switches from on to off from one game to another. Romelu Lukaku has far too much pressure because of critics from pundits and fans. Edin Džeko, at 37 years old, can’t do that much.
Sadly for Inter, they are too heavily dependent on this forward trio, because their midfielders have not been that productive on the offensive side of the pitch since two months back.
