The Arizona Diamondbacks and the Colorado Rockies end their four-game series on Thursday. The Rockies lead the National League West by 1.5 games over the Dodgers and 3.5 games over the Diamondbacks.

 

Buchholz looking for first win since August 22
Clay Buchholz (7-2, 2.01 ERA, 1.04 WHIP) gave up two runs (one earned) on five hits and two walks with six strikeouts over 6 1/3 innings to get a no-decision in a 5-4 loss against the Braves last Saturday. Buchholz is 3-1 with a 1.33 ERA and a 1.01 WHIP in his last seven starts.
