An explosive start to the second half doomed the Raptors in their 109-104 home loss against the Warriors, who evened the NBA Finals 1-1 and stole home court advantage.

Klay Thompson had to leave the game in the fourth quarter with a hamstring injury but he finished with a team-best 25 points on 10-for-17 from the field and 4-for-6 from 3-point range. Stephen Curry had 23 points despite shooting just 6-for-17 and 3-for-10 from downtown, Draymond Green added 17 points, nine rebounds and nine assists and Quinn Cook hit three 3-pointers off the bench for nine points in 21 minutes.

After falling behind by 12 in the second quarter, Golden State reclaimed the lead less than two minutes into the third quarter on an Andre Iguodala 3-pointer. The Warriors started the second half on an 18-0 run and they outscored the Raptors 34-21 in the third.

Kawhi Leonard scored a game-high 34 points with 14 rebounds and Fred VanVleet had 17 points off the bench but he was just 2-for-6 from 3-point range. The Raptors struggled from distance all night long, going just 11-for-38 (28.9 percent) and they had 15 costly turnovers. Pascal Siakam, the hero in Game 1, scored just 12 points on 5-for-18 from the field and Marc Gasol had a poor performance with just six points and six rebounds on 2 of 7 shooting.

NBA Trends:

The Toronto Raptors are:

5-1 ATS in their last six games against a team with a winning straight up record

5-1 ATS in their last six games overall

The Golden State Warriors are:

4-9-1 ATS in their last 14 games after a straight up win

3-7 ATS in their last 10 games against Eastern Conference opponents

2-5 ATS in their last seven Wednesday games

2-5 ATS in their last seven home games

1-7-1 ATS in their last nine games after an ATS win

The Raptors missed 27 3-pointers in Game 2 and still lost by just five points. I'm taking Toronto if KD doesn't play.
