The Dodgers won the first two games of the series, 10-6 on Friday and 7-2 on Saturday. Walker Buehler gave up one earned run on three hits (one home run) with four strikeouts and two walks over five innings, Alex Verdugo hit a home run and a triple and drove in two runs and Kenley Jansen earned a four-out save to help the Dodgers get the win last night.

The Rockies aren't hitting the ball well, particularly their star third baseman Nolan Arenado, who has a .229 batting average with no home runs and four RBIs in nine games. The Dodgers, on the other hand, are second in the majors with 72 runs, a .394 on-base percentage and 22 home runs, third with a .303 batting average and they have an MLB-best .580 slugging percentage.

The player to watch for the Dodgers is Cody Bellinger, he's been on fire to start the season, hitting .425 with six home runs and 17 RBIs and he's 3-for-8 with a double, a triple, a home run and three RBIs in this series.

Pitching Matchup:

Julio Urias (0-0, 0.00 ERA, 0.60 WHIP) vs. Chad Bettis (0-1, 9.53 ERA, 1.59 WHIP)

Julio Urias threw five scoreless innings to get a no-decision in a 4-2 loss against the Giants last Monday, surrendering just three hits with seven strikeouts and no walks in his first start since May 20, 2017. Urias was 2-0 with a 1.72 ERA and an 0.51 WHIP in six games (five starts) in Spring Training and pitching at Coors Field will be a big challenge.

Chad Bettis struggled in his first start of the season, giving up six earned runs on seven hits (two home runs) with five strikeouts and two walks over 5 2/3 innings in a 7-1 road loss against the Rays last Monday. Bettis posted a 4.76 ERA and a 1.35 WHIP in six games (four starts) against the Dodgers last season and he was 0-1 with a 7.08 ERA and a 1.62 WHIP in 17 games (10 starts) at Coors Field last year.

MLB Trends:

The Under is:

7-3-2 in Los Angeles' last 12 road games against a right-handed starter

4-1 in Urias' last five starts against a team with a losing record

6-2 in Urias' last eight starts following a team loss in their previous game

6-2 in Urias' last eight starts against National League West opponents

5-2 in Urias' last seven starts with five days of rest

11-1-1 in Colorado's last 13 home games against a team with a road winning percentage above .600

14-3 in Colorado's last 17 home games against a left-handed starter

22-5 in Colorado's last 27 games following a loss

35-17-1 in Colorado's last 53 games against a left-handed starter

12-4-1 in Bettis' last 17 starts when their opponent allows two runs or less in their previous game

6-2 in the last eight meetings in Colorado

This is a very high total, even for a game at Coors Field, the Dodgers are lighting up the scoreboard and they have a deep lineup but Urias can silence the struggling Rockies offense and help this game go Under.
