The Green Bay Packers and the Minnesota Vikings collide on Sunday Night Football, with both teams needing to win if they want to keep their playoff hopes alive, as the Chicago Bears are running away with the NFC North.

Green Bay Packers
The Green Bay Packers have lost three of their last four games, including a 27-24 road defeat against the Seattle Seahawks on November 15, when they blew a 14-3 lead. Aaron Rodgers played well in the first half, throwing for 332 yards but the Packers had just one scoring drive in the second half. Rodgers threw two touchdowns in the first half but he never got the ball back after Green Bay punted with 4:20 to play. He completed 21 of 30 passes, with 10 of those going to Davante Adams, who had 166 receiving yards.

Aaron Jones ran for 40 yards and one touchdown on just 11 carries after having a career-high 145 rushing yards in his previous game and Rodgers was sacked five times against the Seahawks, four of those in the second half, when the Packers were able to gain just 114 yards.

The Packers are averaging 290.0 passing yards (6th in the NFL) and 108.8 rushing yards (17th). Green Bay ranks 13th with 24.7 points per game and 16th with 24.3 points against. Aaron Rodgers has passed for 3,073 yards, 19 touchdowns and one interception, Aaron Jones has 534 rushing yards and five touchdowns on 84 carries and Davante Adams has 72 receptions for 953 yards and nine touchdowns. Blake Martinez has 84 tackles and Kyler Fackrell has eight sacks.

Minnesota Vikings
The Minnesota Vikings have dropped two of their last three games, including last Sunday's 25-20 close setback in Chicago. The Bears suffocated the Vikings, holding big advantages in total yards (308-268) and time of possession (34:29-25:31). Kirk Cousins was under pressure and completed 30 of 46 passes for 262 yards and he threw two touchdowns in the final 4:51, although he got intercepted two times. Stefon Diggs made 13 receptions for 126 yards and one touchdown but their running game was terrible, as they had just 22 yards on 14 carries, averaging 1.6 yards per carry.

The Vikings are averaging 279.0 passing yards (8th in the NFL) and 84.7 rushing yards (30th). Minnesota ranks 15th with 24.1 points per game and 11th with 22.9 points against. Kirk Cousins has passed for 2,947 yards, 19 touchdowns and seven interceptions, Latavius Murray has 422 rushing yards and five touchdowns on 96 carries and Adam Thielen has 85 receptions for 1,013 yards and seven touchdowns. Eric Kendricks has 72 tackles and Danielle Hunter has 11.5 sacks.

NFL Trends:

The Green Bay Packers are:

8-17-1 ATS in their last 26 games in November

2-7-1 ATS in their last 10 games against NFC opponents

1-5-1 ATS in their last seven road games

2-5 ATS in their last seven meetings in Minnesota

The Minnesota Vikings are:

18-6 ATS in their last 24 home games against a team with a losing road record

26-9 ATS in their last 35 games following a straight up loss

12-5-1 ATS in their last 18 games against a team with a losing record

36-16-2 ATS in their last 54 home games

These two teams tied 29-29 at Lambeau Field in Week 2, more than two months ago and back then, many believed this rematch would go a long way toward determining the winner of the NFC North. Instead, the result of this game will likely end up eliminating one of these two teams. The Vikings have been more consistent than the Packers since their last meeting and although they lost to the Bears, they're still a dangerous team, especially at home and the Packers are dealing with multiple injuries in the secondary.
