Two teams with serious locker room issues clash when the Golden State Warriors visit the Houston Rockets on Thursday night. This will be Golden State's first game in Houston since the epic Western Conference Finals Game 7.

Golden State Warriors
Kevin Durant led the undermanned Warriors with 29 points, including a key jumper in the final minute, a day after he had shouting episode on the bench with Draymond Green, which led to Green's suspension on Tuesday, to help his team hold off the Hawks 110-103. Klay Thompson added 24 points while Stephen Curry missed his third straight game with a strained left groin.

Durant was just 9-for-23 from the field but he grabbed six rebounds and made all 11 of his free-throws. Golden State suspended Green for one game without pay for conduct detrimental to the team after he got into it with Durant on the bench at the end of regulation in Monday's 121-116 overtime road loss to the Clippers. Jonas Jerebko started in place of Green and had season-bests with 14 points and 14 rebounds.

The Warriors are averaging 120.7 points per game (2nd in the NBA), they grab 45.7 rebounds per game (14th), dish out 29.9 assists per game (1st) and allow 111.0 points per game (15th). Kevin Durant is averaging 27.5 points, 7.3 rebounds and 6.5 assists, Klay Thompson adds 21.9 points per game and Draymond Green leads the Warriors with 7.8 rebounds, 7.4 assists and 1.9 steals.

Houston Rockets
James Harden scored 19 of his 22 points in the second half and the Rockets pulled away to beat the Nuggets 109-99 on the road last Tuesday. Harden also had 11 assists, many of them to Clint Capela, who led the team with 24 points and nine rebounds.

Chris Paul added 21 points, five rebounds and four assists for a Rockets team that is dealing with rumors and reports about Carmelo Anthony, who sat out for the third straight game with an undisclosed illness and is believed to be waived soon.

The Rockets are averaging 103.2 points per game (28th in the NBA), they grab 41.2 rebounds per game (27th), dish out 20.0 assists per game (29th) and allow 106.7 points per game (7th). James Harden leads the Rockets with 27.3 points and 7.7 assists, Chris Paul is averaging 17.6 points and a team-best with 2.5 steals and Clint Capela adds 16.2 points and team-bests with 10.9 rebounds and 1.6 blocks.

NBA Trends:

The Golden State Warriors are:

9-3 ATS in their last 12 games against a team with a losing straight up record

8-3 ATS in their last 11 games playing on 1 days rest

6-0 ATS in their last six road games against a team with a home winning percentage below .400

The Houston Rockets are:

3-8 ATS in their last 11 games following a straight up win

3-8 ATS in their last 11 games against a team with a winning straight up record

2-7 ATS in their last nine games against a team with a winning percentage above .600

1-6 ATS in their last seven games against Western Conference opponents

The Warriors will be a little tired because this will be their third game in four nights but they're a veteran team that knows how to overcome adversity and tough situations. Draymond Green will likely be back in this game and he will come out fired up with a lot to prove, which will be a boost for a Golden State team with too much firepower for Houston.
