Fresno State Bulldogs
The Fresno State Bulldogs have won seven straight games after last Saturday's 48-3 road beatdown of the UNLV Rebels. Boise State Broncos
The Boise State Broncos are on a four-game winning streak following a 21-16 win against the BYU Cougars last Saturday. Boise State leaned heavily on their defense to secure the win, registering seven sacks and nine tackles for loss. Zach Wilson led BYU from their own 13 to the Boise State 2 with seven seconds remaining but on the final play Tyson Maeva and Scale Igiehon combined for a sack on Wilson to preserve the win.

Brett Rypien completed 23 of 35 passes for 214 yards, one touchdown and one interception, Alexander Mattison ran for 89 yards and two touchdowns on 25 carries and A.J. Richardson caught four passes for 53 yards and one touchdown.

The Broncos are averaging 318.9 passing yards (11th in the nation) and 149.8 rushing yards (90th). Boise State ranks 22nd with 38.0 points per game and 41st with 23.7 points against. Brett Rypien has passed for 2,779 yards, 24 touchdowns and six interceptions, Alexander Mattison has 726 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns on 175 carries and Sean Modster has 45 receptions for 660 yards and four touchdowns.

College Football Trends:

The Under is:

8-0 in Fresno State's last eight games in November

9-2 in Fresno State's last 11 road games

17-4 in Fresno State's last 21 conference games

9-4 in Fresno State's last 13 games after accumulating more than 450 total yards in their previous game

6-2 in Boise State's last eight games after allowing less than 100 rushing yards in their previous game

17-7 in Boise State's last 24 home games

4-1 in the last five meetings in Boise State

This is a must-win spot for these two teams and both defenses have stepped up lately, so this can easily be a one-possession, low-scoring game. There's too much at stake and both teams will prioritize defense.
