This Sunday afternoon the unbeaten Los Angeles Rams visit the New Orleans Saints in an intriguing game between the two best teams in the NFC.

Los Angeles Rams
The Los Angeles Rams are now 8-0 after a hard-fought 29-27 home win against the Green Bay Packers last Sunday. The Rams went down 10-0 but they took control of the game. The Packers then rallied from a 23-13 deficit to take a 27-26 lead with 8:50 left but Greg Zuerlein's 34-yard field goal put the Rams ahead 29-27 with 2:05 left before Ramik Wilson forced and recovered Ty Montgomery's fumble on the ensuing kickoff return, allowing Los Angeles to win. Jared Goff completed 19 of 35 passes for 295 yards and three touchdowns and Todd Gurley II ran for 114 yards on 25 carries and he also had six catches for 81 receiving yards and one touchdown.

The Rams are averaging 291.8 passing yards (7th in the NFL) and 150.9 rushing yards (1st). Los Angeles ranks 3rd with 33.0 points per game and 6th with 19.4 points against. Jared Goff has passed for 2,425 yards, 17 touchdowns and five interceptions, Todd Gurley II has 800 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns on 169 carries and Robert Woods has 46 receptions for 672 yards and three touchdowns. Cory Littleton has 66 tackles and Aaron Donald has 10 sacks.

New Orleans Saints
The New Orleans Saints have now won their last six games after dropping their season opener 48-40 at home against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Saints used two key turnovers, including a P.J. Williams 45-yard interception return for a touchdown to overcome the Vikings on the road 30-20 last Sunday night. Drew Brees completed 18 of 23 passes for 120 yards, one touchdown and one interception, Alvin Kamara had a big night, he ran for 45 yards and one touchdown on 13 carries and he also made seven receptions for 31 yards and one touchdown and Sheldon Rankins had two of the team's four sacks.

The Saints are averaging 281.9 passing yards (9th in the NFL) and 108.0 rushing yards (17th). New Orleans ranks 2nd with 33.4 points per game and 23rd with 26.1 points against. Drew Brees has passed for 1,990 yards, 14 touchdowns and one interception, Alvin Kamara has 408 rushing yards and seven touchdowns on 92 carries and Michael Thomas has 58 receptions for 669 yards and four touchdowns. Demario Davis has 55 tackles and Cameron Jordan has five sacks.

The New Orleans Saints are:

This game has one-possession contest written all over it and I have to take a chance on the Saints. The Rams have played on the road four times in the last five weeks and New Orleans plays extremely well at home and they can keep up with this Los Angeles offense. Also, the home team is 6-0 ATS in their last six meetings.
