Dodgers vs. Brewers National League Championship Series Game 6

The Los Angeles Dodgers and the Milwaukee Brewers continue the National League Championship Series with Game 6 at Miller Park. Clayton Kershaw pitched the Dodgers past the Brewers 5-2 Wednesday for a 3-2 lead in the series. Max Muncy hit a go-ahead single in the sixth inning and Kershaw held the lead, scoring an insurance run in the seventh and then exiting.

Ryu looking to take Dodgers to World Series
Hyun-Jin Ryu (7-3, 1.97 ERA, 1.01 WHIP) gave up two earned runs on six hits (one home run) and no walks with four strikeouts over 4 1/3 innings to get a no-decision in a 4-3 win in Game 2 last Saturday. Ryu didn't face the Brewers in the regular season but he limited them to just two earned runs on six hits (one home run) and two walks with four strikeouts over 7 1/3 innings in 2013 during his rookie year.

Miley makes second straight start
Wade Miley (5-2, 2.57 ERA, 1.21 WHIP) returns to the mound for a second straight start as the Brewers try to save their season. Miley was replaced by Brandon Woodruff after just five pitches (a walk to Cody Bellinger) but he was announced as tonight's starter. It was all part of a strategy to force the Dodgers to adjust their lineup for a left-handed starter but it didn't pan out.

The left-hander was dominant in Game 2, throwing 5 2/3 scoreless innings of two-hit ball, recording three strikeouts and he also tossed 4 2/3 scoreless innings in a 6-0 win against the Rockies in the NLDS on October 7, surrendering three hits and a walk with two strikeouts. Miley dominated the Dodgers this season, allowing an unearned run over 13 innings in two starts.

MLB Trends:

The Under is:

7-2-1 in Los Angeles' last 10 games when their opponent allows five runs or more in their previous game

13-6-1 in Ryu's last 20 road starts against a team with a winning record

4-0 in Ryu's last four road starts

3-0-1 in the last four meetings

I like the Dodgers team total to go Under. Wade Miley is pitching well in this postseason, throwing 10 1/3 scoreless innings in three starts, recording five strikeouts and just two walks and he didn't give up an earned run in 13 innings pitched against the Dodgers in the regular season, which carried over with 5 2/3 scoreless innings in Game 2 and the Dodgers are hitting just .211 with runners in scoring position in this series.

MLB Pick: Dodgers team total Under 4 (-125) at Jazz Sports
