It's been an unforgettable tournament. After plenty of drama in the Round of 16, the World Cup field is down to eight. We look at what to expect in the quarterfinals from a betting standpoint.
Uruguay vs. France
Friday, July 6 at 10:00 AM ET
Line: France +101 / Uruguay +340 / Draw +221 / Over/Under: 2
Uruguay beat Portugal 2-1 in the Round of 16 behind two goals from Edinson Cavani, but they lost him in the process. Cavani's potential absence is a big blow for Uruguay, without him they don't have enough firepower to upset France.
Kylian Mbappe scored twice in France's thrilling 4-3 win against Argentina, a game that was much easier than the final score suggests and is hard to ignore this team's outstanding form. Look for France to contain Luis Suarez and surpass Uruguay's tough defense.

Brazil vs. Belgium
Friday, July 6 at 2:00 PM ET
Line: Belgium +256 / Brazil +114 / Draw +241 / Over/Under: 2.5
Belgium trailed 2-0 in their Round of 16 game against Japan but they fought back and managed to win 3-2, displaying character and will, which is very important in the late stages of this tournament.
This line is off, Belgium is undervalued here. As far as talent, Belgium matches Brazil in every part of the field. This will be an incredible game, Belgium has been more battle-tested and I have to take them at this price.

Sweden vs. England
Saturday, July 7 at 10:00 AM ET
Line: England -107 / Sweden +359 / Draw +233 / Over/Under: 2
Sweden beat Switzerland 1-0 in the Round of 16 and they have gone deeper in the tournament than what most people expected while England advanced against Colombia, winning a penalty shootout in a World Cup for the first time ever.
Sweden beat three teams better than anyone England beat but oddsmakers don't believe that Sweden has more overall talent than England. Can Sweden's effective playing style overcome England's growing confidence? I'm looking at the Under here, this should be a close, low-scoring affair, similar to Sweden's game against Switzerland.
World Cup Pick: Under 2 (-106) at Jazz Sportsbook
Russia vs. Croatia
Saturday, July 7 at 2:00 PM ET
Line: Russia +277 / Croatia +124 / Draw +208 / Over/Under: 2
Russia didn't back down against Spain, they were down 1-0 but evened the score 1-1 before halftime, held them off in the second half, sent the game to extra time and eventually won in the penalty shootouts.
Croatia didn't play well in their 1-1 draw against Denmark but they managed to advance in the penalty shootouts after Subasic saved three penalties. Croatia struggled against Denmark but that game should be a wake up call for a team that is clearly more talented than Russia.
