Astros' Oswalt activated from DL

Houston, TX (Sports Network) - The Houston Astros activated pitcher Roy Oswalt from the 15-day disabled list, in time to start Monday's 5-4 win against the Cincinnati Reds.
He went five innings in the game and gave up four runs on seven hits with a walk and five strikeouts to improve to 20-1 lifetime against Cincinnati. He has the best record amongst all pitchers with 20 or more decisions all-time against Cincinnati.
The Houston ace had been sidelined since July 12 with a strained left hip abductor. For the season, he is 8-8 with a 4.67 earned run average in 20 starts.
To make room for Oswalt on the roster, the Astros optioned right-handed pitcher Runelvys Hernandez to Triple-A Round Rock. He's 0-3 with an 8.38 ERA in four starts this season.
