Point guard Derrick Rose has at least two suitors now that he's been waived by the Jazz.

Some reports indicate that the Timberwolves and Wizards will pursue Rose, who was officially waived by Utah on Saturday.

"One team expected to survey the possibility of signing Derrick Rose, league sources tell ESPN: The Washington Wizards. John Wall still has several more weeks of rehab following knee surgery." (@wojespn)

"The Wolves continue to have great interest in adding Derrick Rose and will explore the possibility of claiming the former MVP off waivers now that Utah has released him, league sources say" (@TheSteinLine)

As of Saturday night, the Timberwolves are favored to land Rose. The team was interested in him since the trade to Utah went down and his former coach with the Bulls, Tom Thibodeau, could convince him to join him in Minnesota. Rose averaged 9.8 points and 1.6 assists in 16 games with the Cavaliers.
